“A writer may produce countless works in their lifetime, yet their soul often rests in only one of them. Within that single book, a clear path opens. Walk backward along it, and the author returns to the origin — to the world where they first saw, first desired, and first felt the urge to speak. For Capote, In Cold Blood is perhaps too clamorous, and Breakfast at Tiffany’s perhaps too ornate. After the flourish fades, his solitary, proud soul seems already weary of such glitter. A Christmas Memory may well be the place most suited as his resting ground.” — Yueran Zhang, Writer

This is a warm book, and I wanted to extend that idea — to let it truly become the resting place of Capote’s spirit. I turned the work into a small, exquisite house — portable, gift-like, and perfect for Christmas.
"OPEN THE DOOR"
As the reader continues through the pages, they must open one “door of memory” after another — from the cover through each chapter — and at certain moments they will step into three-dimensional “rooms” hidden inside, adding playfulness and a sense of interaction to the reading experience.
"ROOM, MEMORIES"
The room illustrations are created with screen printing. Its colours have a vividness that conventional printing cannot achieve — bright, slightly accidental, and childlike — echoing the radiant fragments of Capote’s childhood memories.
The book can be opened a full 360 degrees. Its binding is strong. It blooms, almost like a flower.
